Attack Damage Increase per Stack: 35% → 30%.These changes should offer more counterplay options and a bigger reaction window for the enemy team, while still keeping the general Bow playstyle intact, where it can focus single enemies down very quickly once max attack buff stacks are reached. Additionally, the attack buff stacks now fall off more quickly if the Bow stops attacking. To make their damage output a bit less explosive, the ramp-up to the max stack buff now takes slightly longer. Regular Bows are still a very strong pick in the 5v5 Crystal League. Attack Speed Increase per Stack: 13% -> 10%.Attack Damage Increase per Stack: 30% -> 25%.For this reason, the changes to their stack duration have been reverted, while their damage burst potential has been reduced to balance this. However, regular Bows were somewhat underrepresented. With the recent changes to Enchanted Quiver, the stacks fell off more easily and had a slower ramp up time, allowing more counter play. Damage keeps increasing when multiple targets are hit at the same time.To make Demon Arrow (Wailing Bow) better suited to large-scale battles, its damage increase logic has been updated, ensuring that damage amplifies properly for each player hit and enhancing the spell's damage ramp-up against tightly clustered enemies. Additionally, the projectile size of Magic Arrow is slightly increased to bring it more in line with similar abilities. To give other weapons a better chance to defend against it, the damage output is toned down a bit. EquipmentĮnchanted Quiver has been very powerful in various solo activities. Spells with x/y values refer to 1h weapon/2h weapon values. Note: numerical values are based on gear with 1100 item power. Recast the ability within 8s to dash to targeted position and enchant 4 more arrows (cannot exceed 6 arrows). If an enemy player is in a 6m radius around you, your physical Auto-Attack damage will be decreased to 185%. While you hold enchanted arrows, your attack speed is increased by 50% and your physical attack damage by 220%.Įach auto attack consumes 1 enchanted arrow. You could, at your option, use real arrows as well (though I don't know why you'd ever want to, except perhaps for bane arrows or arrows of slaying). An active ability found on the third slot of Bows.Įnchant up to 6 of your arrows for the next 8s. It also had a special function to allow you to preform what amounted to a ranged power attack.īy reverse engineering the cost of the bow, the special ability was apparently priced at 22,500 gold pieces. Is it really that powerful, or is it just taboo to make something that is "a wand of infinite magic missiles" in some peoples minds? I mean is it really more powerful than a property that adds +1d6 fire damage to every shot or every swing of the sword?ĮDIT- I quickly run for my books to make sure it does not exist already.Īctually it was presented as a D&D web enhancement on the WotC website and can be found in their archives I believe but it takes some digging, and it's part of the D&D Cartoon DVD set celebration.Įffectively Hank's Bow (AKA Tashron's Bow IIRC) is a +2 composite longbow which has the special ability to produce magic force-arrows (2d6 force damage) and the bow always adds your full strength modifier to the damage, as the "cord" has as much draw as you can handle. Maybe +1 property? If the 'force' arrow is too powerful, since it can hit ghosts, make it summon a mundane arrow. I have always wondered why I have never found a bow magical property that allows an arrow of force to be evoked everytime you pull the bow string back.
